What if I'm nervous in front of the camera?
You'd be surprised how many seniors say this — and how quickly that feeling disappears! My goal is always to make sure you feel comfortable and have fun. I'll guide you through everything, take your ideas seriously, and use my experience to bring your vision to life. By the end, I promise you'll forget the camera is even there.
Do parents usually come to the session?
Most parents do come along, and honestly it's a great idea! Beyond cheering you on, having an extra set of hands is super helpful for holding onto the things you don't want showing up in your photos — your phone, wallet, extra outfits, you name it. That said, it's completely up to you. There's no requirement, and we'll make it work either way!
Can I bring a friend?
Of course! In fact, I would encourage it. Friends bring out a natural, relaxed side of you that makes for some of the best shots.
Where are you located and do you travel?
I'm based in Portland, MI, and I love finding beautiful new locations for sessions! Travel within 30 miles of Portland is always included. For anything beyond that, a travel fee of $2.00 per mile one way applies for the additional distance.
When and how will I receive my photos?
Your edited gallery will be delivered digitally within 4 weeks via a private online gallery, where you can view, purchase (if applicable) and download your images, You'll receive an email as soon as it's ready.
Can I add dramatic sports photos to my senior session instead of booking separately?
Yes! We'll add about 20 minutes to your senior session, typically at the end during blue hour. This add-on includes fog and lighting effects and adds approximately 5 images to your gallery for $150.
- If you've booked a Classic or Signature Package, these images are included in your all-inclusive gallery at no extra cost.
- If you've booked Core Session, the sports images join your gallery and are available through the same à la carte pricing as your senior photos.
